Insight is seeking a Remote Senior Azure Data Engineer to work with our client s cloud infrastructure team and assist with Azure data pipelines and data storage.
This position is a 6
month contract that has the possibility of extending or going long term.

- They are working with a Microsoft Partner to work with their data pipeline.
- Working with their cloud infrastructure team
- Must understand the Azure tools from end to end.
- Must have experience ensuring the data pipelines and data stores.
- Ensure that the data stores are high-performing, efficient, organized, and reliable.
- Need to have experience with designing, implementing, monitoring, & optimizing data platforms to meet the data pipeline needs.
- Solid understanding of data processing languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala, & they need to understand parallel processing and data architecture patterns.
- Must have experience with design & implementing data storage, design & develop data processing, design and implementing data security, monitor and optimize data storage & data processing.
- Experience in implementing data solutions in Azure including Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB, Databricks
- Experience in designing data solutions in Azure including data distributions and partitions, scalability, disaster recovery and high availability.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Catalog
- Experience with Microsoft/Azure ETL solutions and business Intelligence technologies is a big plus but not mandatory
- Azure Data Engineer Associate certification ( they should either have this or all experience that are built into this certification)
- Need to have that level of the Azure stack
- Act as a mentor to the team
- Work & code in Spark
