Job Description:
Provides first level of supervision to the production lines by adminstering work direction and guidance through ensuring associate quality and safety, product and material availability and general line conditions meet standards. Maintains production performance indicators and communicates condition to the leadership chain.
1. Manage associates immediate needs through work direction, time and attendance application and daily production operation.
2. Monitor and confirm associate quality level on the line using operation manual sheets (OMS), jig and tool review, and by training and coaching associates.
3. Maintain pre- and post- shift records clearly demonstrating shift performance, associate time and attendance and pass down communications.
4. Monitor process performance by confirming cycle time, visual defect control indicators and confirming in process inventory levels.
5. Analyze the production line hourly output and react by requesting staffing support based on the results.
6. Manage in-process and next-process defects by judging defect status, root cause investigation and defect re-work process efficiently.
7. Ensure effective communication with all team members one-on-one and analyze information to provide a timely report to the leadership chain.
8. Ensure the safety of associates by monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper use and disposal of chemicals and other DENSO safety standards.
## Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
