Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Purpose:
To facilitate the vision and mission of the church by maintaining the buildings, systems, and grounds of the church in order to provide a safe, functional, clean, and welcoming environment to all.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalency and general knowledge of, and at least 5 years experience with, the operation and routine maintenance of building systems and equipment including HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems and general maintenance skills including dry wall/ceiling tile repair, painting, and plumbing or lighting/electrical fixture replacement.
Experience with VCT stripping and waxing is preferred.

Responsibilities:
Maintain church vehicles and equipment Maintain outside areas including the courtyards, breezeways, and the pavilion with trash pick-up and blowing leaves and other detritus (lawns and shrubs are trimmed by a contractor) Monitor the church events calendar and manage event and classroom set-ups Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and consumables inventory and reconcile deliveries Conduct and record routine maintenance tasks including HVAC filter changes and kitchen equipment demineralizing/cleaning Conduct and record routine safety systems operation checks Oversee/conduct maintenance and repairs in coordination with the Business Administrator Assist the Business Administrator in coordinating with contractors/vendors and obtaining supplies for building repairs Provide support for funerals, memorial services, weddings and other special worship services Assist as needed with general facility cleaning and serve as a backup to cleaning staff on leave Job Skills:
