Including but not limited to recording various administrative duties, cashiering, scanning legal documents, dispositions, and indexing, and assisting clients with information and research in person, via telephone, and/or email correspondence.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation; Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc; Provides clerical support to the HR department; Assists with new hire orientation; Maintains exit interview program and discusses exit interview findings with HR leadership; Assists with annual open enrollment coordination; Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, benefit fair, annual employee recognition events, employee engagement activities, and various fundraising activities; Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs Submit requisitions, requests for checks, and purchase orders when necessary; Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility; File, Scan and create new employee files; and Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM WORK High school diploma; Two (2) years of department experience preferred; Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience; Must be eligible to obtain a Tennessee Notary Public Licensure at County's cost; and Valid driver's license.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Skillful using small office equipment, including copy machines and/or multi-line telephone systems.
Skillful using computers for data entry, spreadsheets and/or accounting purposes.
Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and an orientation towards customer service.
Ability to make decisions.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires adaptation to changing goals, priorities, and needs.
Ability to supervise, organize, and communicate effectively.
Ability to maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
Ability to cooperate with fellow employees as a team member.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, reach and manipulate objects, tools and/or controls.
The position requires mobility.
Duties may involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis.
Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment, such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
The position requires hearing, mental acuity, speaking, and visual acuity.
WORK ENVIRONMENT Most work is performed in a well-lighted, modern office setting with centrally controlled heating and air conditioning.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
